Writing a Will insures harmony in family future.
Writing a Will helps to keep it all in the family!
Writing a Will became a frightening thought in either direction I choose to go. It's scarey to think that if I put this off and don't create a Will, all that I've worked for would be taken away, reduced or held up in probate for months and years.
Everything I worked for to make my life and loved ones comfortable in the future would be on hold because I was too scared to sign or commit my wants to paper.
Kerry Emrich puts definition of this in an attached article on the
Fear of Death
The other end of this spectrum would be if I do get into writing a Will, that I'm agreeing to an end in site.
For some reason it becomes very intimidating for most people.
The least you can do is put down your mate as your sole beneficiary. After your mate comes names of those family members closest to you. It may be your children, stepchildren, siblings or even parents. Divide monies, investments (like stocks) and material items of value equally. That would reduce any ill feelings amongst those you leave behind.
If you get more complicated about leaving particular items to someone special, make sure it is spelled out completely to eliminate confusion or mistakes. The last thing you want is anyone fighting over who should get more.Passing on leaves heartbreak and heartache. Put into your Will what type of funeral arrangements you want for yourself. When loved ones are upset, it is difficult and they may spend a lot more of their inheritance on special or expensive details. The money could be used in better directions such as college educations for children or grandchildren. (check out page for Funeral Planning)
