Aging Baby Boomer Wants Answers she can trust...
Call that mid life crisis, aging, menopause, andropause or better yet maturity. Now that you’re over 40 or over 50 and some of you over 60 it can be the perfect time to revamp your life. Give your self the permission to enjoy the now and undo some of the major thoughts implanted by the former generations and our unspoken need to please.
You are becoming your own Parent and if you’re not sure or need guidance along the way, The Aging Baby Boomer Guide is here to help you.
The first areas to address are the responsible ones:
v Retirement Planning
v Investments – are you getting the most out of what you already have (one of my favorite areas)
v Writing a Will
v What we want for our Final Arrangements (Funeral etc.)
v Life Insurance and/or Disability Insurance
The above isn’t always fun, but you don’t want to get caught short like some of our parents and outlive our funds and depend on the system (especially now that there are no guarantees for pensions or health care) or family members.
Next, the logical choices start to surface. Do you still keep the same home, furniture, collectables, etc. or do you update, upgrade and enjoy your life? Logical areas include ways to live in the now:
v Remodeling to fit your life style
v Downsizing living space
v Organizing and Dispensing your accumulations
v Furniture or style you’ve always wanted
v How to release and let go
These areas seem like a chore but when accomplished or even started they seem to spark a renewed enthusiasm for your own life and living style.
As Aging Baby Boomers, we are pioneers of the wellness revolution. We are the post war babies between the ages of 38 and 66. An average of 10,000 turn 50 everyday and what we seek is to maintain our youth and live lifestyles full of health and vitality. Which takes us to the reality of our personal level.
v Maturity and dealing with Mid Life Crisis
v Aging Parents
v Finding yourself single
v Male and Female Menopause
v Anti Aging Therapy
v Fitness
v Finding Energy
v How to re-spark your love life
v Over 40 or 50
v Memory Issues
That category can and probably will go on and on. I’ve also read somewhere that people spend more time planning a vacation then they do their lives and I now believe that’s true.
I would invite you to join me and help create this site to be as informational as we all need it to be. As Aging Baby Boomers, we have to unite and share what works and what doesn’t.
